How can I get my goat kid to stop ing?
Do you have previous knowledge of goats? you made a few crucial decision flaws. first you got a buckling for a pet. Bucks are powerful machines they crave food and fighting. no if ands or buts about it. Unless you plan to breed him get him fixed, or face the wrath of peeing on himself and terrorizing whatever strikes his fancy. Second you should have had him dehorned. Ive seen HORRIBLE accidents caused by the most docile goat that was allowed to have horns.... A pasture mate was disembowled during a scuffle at feeding time. It is natural for goats to at each other in play as well as other animals. You really need to castrate him and hopefully your vet can dehorn him, otherwise your in for alot of heartbreak. Plus a potbelly pig is not nessasarily a good pasture mate for a goat. They are very herd bound animals and need another goat to play and bond with. go to fiascofarm.com and read thru their site.
