How can I get my iPhone to be recognized by iTunes/finish rebooting?

So my friend erased my iPhone in order to delete the jailbreak on it....but now it's stuck on the page with the chrome apple logo. I found how to restore it on Google, but after iTunes said it was ready to be synced up again, it still stayed on the screen with the Apple logo. I just want to get my stupid phone fixed already! Can anyone help me out here?
