Can my wife tell me u can't see my daughter?

She waited until I was at work today,Friday, and claims to have filed for temporary custody and a restraining order that she lied to get by saying i hit her. She called me on the phone and told me what she did and then told me I wasn't to come over to even see my daughter. Is that legal?
